A Trip To The Cinema With Rosie

We went to see Minions: The Rise of Gru

Have you seen it too?

It was good fun!

I posted a pic of our adventure here (hope the link opens OK?)

Just below, is another pic of Rosie's mum and me on the beach. We met a few years ago, whilst teaching out in Tanzania, I was in the Primary School and Ness was in Secondary. Our husbands also became good mates, and most years, we all get together at their home near the sea.

My 17 year old son didn't come with us this time, as he was with his mates at "Reading Festival" getting up to lots of mischief, I hope. Next year, we're going to try to get a family ticket for Glastonbury, fingers crossed. (You may like to see some pics of my husband and son's recent trip to The Dolomites here).

In the meantime, we've got another week of relaxing and enjoying the hols here in the UK, before a rather challenging year of GCSEs and A Levels for my two. I thought this article by Ben Fogle summed up exams rather nicely.
